We have been administering COVID-19 vaccines regularly ever since, working to ensure there is easy access to the COVID-19 vaccinations close to home in our rural communities. In that time, countless extra planning and vaccine administration hours have been logged by many departments of our team. Not only has our team been instrumental in the administration of these vaccines, but we have depended on our strong community partnerships for help getting patients registered, getting education out on the vaccinations, having a large community space to hold mass vaccination clinics, and so much more. We have successfully managed 102 vaccination clinics for the county and surrounding communities which has added up to over 10,400 vaccinations being administered. It’s been a whirlwind of a year but together, our MHCS team and our communities have achieved so much. Thank you for all your support this past year!
COVID-19 vaccinations are still free and are still available and encouraged. Most all 5 years and older are eligible for 1st and 2nd doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Most those 16 years and older are eligible for a booster vaccine. For more information or to schedule your vaccination appointment call Seward Family Medical Center at 402-643-4800.
